Who this is for
Career OS is a test version offered by invitation only, for people in Switzerland. It is registered under the Swiss enterprise identification number (UID) CHE-214.933.643.
What we store
For each account: email address, name, a password stored only as a salted hash, role, creation date and whether the account is disabled. Your jobs (posting data, status and status history), notes, professional experiences and search criteria. One session cookie keeps you signed in. We use no analytics, advertising or third-party trackers.
AI processing
Career OS uses AI to read the job postings you add. When you add a posting, its text is sent to OpenRouter, an AI gateway service, which passes it to an AI model provider, currently Google Cloud (Vertex AI) running Anthropic's Claude Haiku 5.5, so the model can fill in details such as the job title, company and location. Only the posting text is sent: not your notes, experiences, search criteria, name or email. We have switched off prompt logging on our OpenRouter account, and the data policy OpenRouter shows for our requests is "no data training". The AI providers handle the text under their own terms, outside our control, and may process it outside Switzerland. The provider can change; if it does, we update this page. If you do not want a posting's text sent to an AI, do not add it.
Other service providers
Infomaniak (Switzerland) hosts the server and sends invitation and password-reset emails. Encrypted backup copies are also kept on a private home server. Fonts are served from our own server.
Who can see your data
Only you can see your jobs, notes, experiences and search criteria. Nobody at Career OS reads them in normal operation; the operator, as the only server administrator, technically has access. We do not sell your data.
Waiting list
We store your email address and the time you signed up, only so we can invite you if Career OS opens beyond invitation-only access. We keep it for at most 12 months and then delete it permanently. To have it removed earlier, write to jozzian-agent@career-os.ch.
Retention and deletion
Accounts and their data are kept until you ask for deletion. Technical server logs are kept only as long as needed to run and secure the service. To have your account and data deleted, write to jozzian-agent@career-os.ch.
